  1.         1 liter = 100 cl              then

                                                      100 cl          7500 meters

                                                        x                 600

    x=600X100/7500=6000/75=8 cl

  2. since we are dealing with different units, it will be best if we convert one unit and make use of uniform units.

    1 km = 1000 m

    7.5 km = 7500 m =====> 7.5 km x (1000m/1 km)

    1L = 100 cl (centi- means hundred)

    You can use the proportion below:

    Let x be the gas consumed (in cl) in going 600 meters.

    100 cl/7500m = x/600 m

    cross multiply:

    7500m x = 60 000 m cl

    divide both sides by 7500m:

    x = 8 cl

  3. 1liter = 7500m

    1/7500 L= 1m

    600/7500L = 600m

    = 0.08L

    = 80ml

    80ml = 8cl

    8cl
