  1. I remember my first job, after 2 days, I told them I would be away for a day.  They were fine but just said don't let it happen too often.

Since you're casual I'd say they wouldn't panic too much.  I guess it's a good test of whether they like you or not.

  2. they will probably let the person go...meaning tell them dont come back.

  3. Seeing as how you just started and you aren't giving them that large of a notice, they won't be happy.

  4. I was in the exact same secnario, and my employers were good and they understood and also as I was casual and my personality at work they knew that I am not f..... them around.

They did not took as been nasty to me and i returne dto work happliy, as the whole staff there is so good and we prosper in the buisness and understadn each other and support if there is a time comes up that is not always known in advance.

So, its not nesscary that what most,  say is true.

  5. You should have told them when they hired you, they will not be happy, but if you working well they will be ok with it

  6. may as well look for a job while you're gone.

  7. you suppose to them that when first get the job or at the interview when they ask you are there any days you will need off. just explain what;s going on and you might have a job.

  8. i would have to agree with MIKE

you should have told them this when you got hired

if you didn't know then, they may either keep you or tell you to have an extended vacation

  9. They will and should be pissed.  By not telling them this in your interview, or during preemployment status, you were being misleading.  I hope you look in the mirror and tell that person you aren't going to behave like that.  You should man up to your responsibilities, not leave for a week, stop thinking like a kid, and work.  Do you not realize that your employer hired you to fill a position.  If you leave for a week, everyone will have to work extra to cover you until you get back...You inconvenience the entire team because you didn't want to say this during the interview.  You are selfish.  I would fire you.
