  1. nope. ur cat is disease free!!!!

  2. no

  3. No, the opposite. If it is negative it means it doesn't have the disease.

  4. Negative means the test does not show evidence of the disease.

  5. No, that means he is free of the disease. Get him vaccinated so he stays that way =^..^=

  6. Negative means the cat is healthy.  Keep it up-to-date on vaccines and it should stay that way. :-)

  7. A negative on that test is a GOOD thing.  Now, vaccinate your cat, spay or neuter the kitty and keep him/her inside for a long and healthy life.

  8. Nope, he is healthy!!! :)

  9. Negative means no.  The cat is healthy.  Relax and enjoy.

However, A negative FeLV test does not imply immunity to FeLV, nor does it indicate that a cat has never been exposed to the virus (i.e., it is a test for virus, not the antibody to the virus). A negative test can be found in cats that:

Have never been exposed to FeLV (which is what we all hope for)

Are incubating the virus at an earlier stage than either test can detect (such cats might test positive later on)

Have overcome a previous infection and thus have not become persistently viremic

Were infected with the virus previously and have developed disease, but for some reason do not have virus in the bloodstream at the time of testing .
