I have a deck made of old, old wood that is withered and grey. I am unsure if it has been treated with arsenic or not. My cats stay out on the deck for most of the day. When they come inside, is it possible that they might track the arsenic indoors, wherein they then further distribute it onto the furniture and beds?

  1. No we would be more likely to get hurt by a falling star then sick, from a cat tracking in arsenic used in treating wood.   You are in no danger from this.  We are exposed to all sorts of chemicals.  The cat tracking in arsenic, from treated wood, is one we don't need to worry about getting sick from.

    Good Luck

  2. Just stop l*****g the furniture and you will be just fine....
