If a child actor stars in a movie with a restricted or pg-13 rating, can they attend its premiere?

  1. As long as they are accompanied by their Mom or Dad, yes.


  2. First of all, PG-13 is a guideline, not a restriction. As for R rated movies, I'm pretty sure a child who starred in an R rated movie wouldn't have much trouble getting parental permission to attend the movie's premier. Furthermore, the MPAA ratings system is completely voluntary and so the real question is whether the theatre showing the movie would attempt to prevent the child actor from attending.

  5. lol yeah they should because they were in the movie. maybe they would have to be accompanied by an adult though.

  6. yes because they r given parental permission to do the movie plus all that has to happen is your mother has to sign a waiver i won a contest to got to the opening for speed with my sister she was of age i wasn't my mother just had to sign it
