you nonchanlantly discount sightings of this child or would you cling to them with hope, as hope is all you have.

The fact that many supposedly intelligent individuals who care about children, blatanly discount sightings of Madeleine McCanns based on the presumption that she is no more, scares the wits out of me.

How can they be so sure?

There isn't any proof, conclusive evidence Madeleine is no more.

We read of so many cases of missing children being found after 8 & more years...what if they had been discounted ?

She didn't.

You have to hope, especially when thats all you have.

Don't take sightings of a missing child lightly.

It would get a little draining to hope for the best each and everytime.

If your the parent of the missing child then it's natural to never give up hope but for us reading about it she has been missing for 12 months now and we know the horrors that are in this world, although we wished there wasn't sadly there are and alot of horrors that we have no comprehension of but they do exist, that little girl was taken, I hope for adoption but the odds are she was taken to order for a pheodhile group and this as been reported in the papers, so as much as I would hope she's been treated well and this possible sighting is her and she's returned safely to her parents I somehow doubt that and that's down to the evils in this world that are reported.

what bugs me is the people who did claim to see her, report it to police 'i saw her on the bus' or whatever, why not follow and see which direction they go in or what house they go in, not let them get of the bus then report to police the next day or later

Is it just coincidence that there have been so many sightings just as the PJ release the files or is it more to do with smoke and mirrors.Do you think that it could be a diversionary ploy set up by professional liar and Labour party spin doctor Clarence Mitchell.

The flip side is that there have been sightings of her that turned out to be someone else, so lets not assume that these reports are accurate.
