  1. It depends on a lot of things. The biggest one for me is, what state do you live in. If he/she has competed in competitive track and field/cross country. There she can see how well she/he does in their age group. Also, how willing she is to be bossed around and worked everyday.

  2. Dedication to any sport is - should be the main factor.  Start off by signing her/him up with a local summer track club who co metes against other teams throughout the season.

If the child has dedication to a certain or any sport, any athlete can go far.

Any child must have positive influences even on "bad days" as many competive athletes DO have "bad days".

Just remember one thing tho, "There is always on any given day/event that there's  another athlete that is - could better than you on any given day".

  3. Well depends on the school competition. If its a school with 15 girls and she wins these events its unlikely.

The important things are her times and distances and if these are good enough to make state (queenslander pride) then she will need to train very hard for a lot of her life to represent australia

  4. their chance isnt that high.....

i win every single event at my school... 100m-3000m.

    shot put-hammer throw....

    and hurdles...

    .

but that does not mean i will win at a national level... that just means people at my school are c**p.

  5. well first of all it would depend on how well he/she did in those events. Than it would depend on how much he/she was willing to work. It is not an easy thing to represent your country in sports.

  6. All depends if she keeps training, working and keeps motivated...
