You do the opposite. Then they were wrong, right. Because you can't change what's destined

Im not talking about a real situation here. I guess what I am asking is, Is destiny just a load of nonsense. In your opinion.

  1. You might be fulfilling the destiny the gods laid out for you by doing the opposite. Destiny is a circular arguement and self-fulfilling usually. None of the major religions lately believe in destiny, only predestination :)

More philosphy than math. you can prove predestination mathimatically for particles. I suppose if you were able to sum that up for all the particles for a human and every other human he woud ever interact with, you could predict someones destiny to an extent  but not looking at the stars or your palm or feeling the bumps on your head.

  2. Perhaps its altered because you were informed. Cause and effect, which cause and effect is brought on by freewill.

I think destiny depends on the individual. If the individual has a strong spiritual energy to pave his or her own path in life, then they set their own destiny. If the individual floats through life with weak spiritual energy, his or her destiny is paved by life.

The reason I think this is because I've had experiences with what you are talking about except family members were the ones that were involved. I had a dream about my sister getting fired from her job, which one week later she was fired. When I told her about the dream, both of us shrugged it off and laughed.

I would have to think deeply about it and experiment because it is rather confusing.

  3. You should read Jane Roberts Seth books.

There is no such thing as destiny, everything can and will change as you see fit because you are creating your life through your thoughts and beliefs.  Nobody controls us or forces us to follow a certain path,  because we have free will.  Now you may have come here (Earth) to learn or accomplish something, in other words something that is of your own choosing, and you may or may not accomplish that , it's still your choice.

  4. If a clairvoyant tells you it is your destiny to do something, then they are a liar or a delusional wacko. Actually, if anyone claims to be clairvoyant, they are lying or deluded.

If this person really believes their own abilities, I'd recommend they quickly contact the James Randi Educational Foundation to take the $1 Million paranormal challenge--they're only offering it for 1 more year. They could collect a million bucks for a simple demonstration. (But since you've already proved them wrong, I have a feeling they will fail!)

  5. It's called freewill honey and it sounds like you've been utilizing yours to the fullest.

I'll make this clear for those that are intellectually challenged.

Anyone can prove a fortune teller wrong by exercising freewill. It doesn't make them wrong, it makes you human. Freewill is what separates us from the beasts of burden.

Try doing what you are told, you might be able to accomplish something worthwhile and be pleased with the results.

  6. Yes, in my opinion destiny is a load of nonsense unless you believe in a Cosmic Puppetmaster pulling all the strings. The concept of destiny is a way that humans try to apply a sense of direction and meaning to their lives through mystical belief. On that same note, clairvoyance is also a load of nonsense, so if a clairvoyant is wrong, that's to be expected.
