If a crushed liver does not regenerate some on it's own what can be done to save this person.?

My niece was in a car wreck, liver and spleen was crushed, what can be done if some of her liver does not regenerate, do we have a chance that she can survive.

That's serious stuff.  I'm not a doctor, but your question is hard to answer in that you don't state how much of the liver was crushed.  Folks can survive with a partial liver, but I'm not sure what the required percentage is.  I'll keep your niece in my prayers....  Good luck.

Oh wow, maybe she will have a transplant? I know you can live without a spleen. I really hope everything turns out alright. The poor thing.
