I do not understand MB or Gb

if a camera card has 4gb what is that compared to the camera storage?

  1. It really depends on how many megapixels your camera is and what quality set your camera.

    For example, I have a 4GB memory card in my 6 megapixel camera and I can hold just over 1,000 photos. Since every camera create different file sizes, it's hard to give you just a general file size.

    32MB can hold about 10-30 photos--depending on what camera you have. Please note, this estimate is very rough because I don't have any idea what camera you are using.

    4 gb over 1000 dpends on your camera settings.

    1024 mb per 1 gb so 4096 mb in 4 gb

  3. CoW888 is absolutely right!  I'd just add that 32MB (Megabytes) is very small - I'd assume that's the camera's internal memory.  The 4 GByte card mentioned is now about £15 in the UK - at that price I think you can stop counting pictures!
