If a dog attacks you...?

Question

How do you find their owner to ask them to pay your medical bills? This dog lives on my street, I think, though I'm not 100% sure. Can I call the state animal license place, and describe the dog, and they can look up the owner, someone who lives in my area that owns a dog of that breed?

go door knocking, or call the pound and ask for it to be put down.

Unless you where provoking it and then good job on the dog

It sounds like you already went for medical treatment.  If not, do so right away.  You will definitely want to find that dog so that it can be tested for rabies!  Otherwise you may need to get preventative shots which are not pleasant.

well not everyone get a license for there dog. and if your not sure whos dog it is then you cant do anything about it. im sure you turned the dog in already, and if you did it will be put down then you really wont fine the owners

ok this is what i would do i would call the animal control and get them to come get the dog away from the owner

Might as well try calling about a license, but dog owners dont always follow the rules and dont get their dogs a license. You can walk around the neighborhood asking people about the dog maybe someone else knows where the dog lives. Call the cops and see what they say.

Go knocking on your neighbors doors. Ask them. do u ahev a dog. and if they say yes. you ask can i see it.
