  1. If you think that it does, then sure, why not?

  2. If you asked this question in the forest would anybody care?  You should go into the forest and find out.

  3. A falling tree does make a noise. The sound waves just keep spreading out loosing there energy. If no one hears the tree falling down it is simply because no one was around to hear it.A sound must make noise there are no noisless noises. That would Tear The Fabric Of Time.!!! 0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o

  4. A question that has puzzled scientists for many years... Here's my answer:

If nobody can hear it, than who cares?

  5. That is a very constructive way of turning the old question on its head, but if people understood the real meaning of the old question, they wouldn't ask it the same way. They would move on and ask other things more advanced in conceptual epistemics.

Last week I posted a blog about this subject. I think you'll find the question does not mean what everyone means it to mean.

My site: Thank you very much for looking at it. http://freeassemblage.blogspot.com/

  6. It just depends on what the definition of "sound" is. If you define "sound" as an acoustic event as perceived by people then it would not make a sound. If you define "sound" as any acoustic event then yes it would make a sound.

Does a dog whistle make a sound? To humans no, because it is above 20000 Hz and the frequency is too high for humans to hear. To the dog, yes it does.

  7. If there were points for cleverness, then you'd get my vote.  But...I have time for this and no inclination.
