I know that it is called "heat". I also agree that you have your cats fixed. My is an indoor cat that sees her vet regularly, however her vet suggested I waited due to an eye infection she had. Then we went on vacation, and yes my fault have not done it yet. She came into heat and her other two times it happened it lasted at least 7-10 days and this cycle only lasted 3 days and my nephew, not knowing she was an indoor cat, let her out, she was out for less than an hour (terrifying) but none the less a lot can happen in an hour. Thanks!

  1. no

  2. Cats can become pregnant by more than one male so I believe the answer would be no.

  3. Cat's don't have "cycle's"   they have HEAT!

The heat will not end until she becomes pregnant... (with more unwanted kittens you won't be able to find homes for)

HAVE YOUR CAT SPAYED!  This is the kindest thing you can do for your cat... she will stay more like a kitten if you do it early!

  4. YES! A heat cycle ends 24 hours after ovulation. In pedigree breeding, owners use 'teaser toms'  (google it- who are tom cats that has vasectomys because the barb shaped p***s stimulates the cat to ovulate, thus ending the heat cycle early. This is done when cats are not yet old enough to breed or it is too soon after having kittens for her to become pregnant again. GOOGLE IT- your cats heat sysle will end after about 2 weeks OR when ovulation occurs...ovulation is brought on by intercourse and the cat can continue to conceive for 24- or it may be 48- hours after. but then that is it. I knwo most others are saying not, but it is correct i know because i was just reading about this last night! So if she conceived her heat cycle would have ended early- you may have ktitens on your hands...

  5. The answer is no. As soon as possible, you should get her neutered.

    Hope this helps!

  6. Its not a cycle it is called being in Heat.

    Please get your cats spayed.
