No you can't claim diddley.     TO be called Sir, is very Polite.     The female Office probably did a strip search on you and thought that you had no  b***s.    It would be an easy mistake, especially if your old and flat chested.   Any woman who carries around two fried eggs, should be refered to as a Sir.    Don't be so sensitive, grow up and quite aggrivating the Police Dept.
