i will clarify my question. if a woman who considers herself to be a feminist, speaks against another womans decision to stay at home, raise her children, do housework etc, does that make the woman that considers herself a feminist and able to make a decision as a woman equal to that of a man, anti-feminist? working against the "cause"? i hope that clears things up for the question about labels.

  1. What's with all the labels?  If she wants to stay home, she does. If she don't, she don't.

  2. I don't think so. You can be critical of a situation while still being supportive of a person. While we should support anyone's right to choose what makes him/her happy, it's still possibile to look at what's going on and see coercive factors that the person may not be aware of that makes it less than a free choice. I know someone who chose to get married and have babies because she was scared of life and felt defeated...should I be happy for her? I'm happy that she in some ways enjoys what she's chosen, but sad because maybe she could've overcome and grown as a person...

  3. I'd call it typical hypocritical liberal feminism at work.

  4. Also none of her business. Who would you rather raise your children? The babysitter?

  5. No its just an opinion

  6. Just an opinion. Not all women are feminists. They believe that the guy can do everything.

    Boo.

  7. No not really. She is just disagreeing with the decision.
