A friend of mine has some stuff he stole and he gives it to people some times if i accept somthing stolen is this wrong?

  1. You can be arrested for receiving stolen goods. So, yes, if you accept something stolen it is wrong.


  2. The fact that you KNOW  or BELIEVE it to be stolen, and you take it, makes you guilty of Receiving stolen property. For example, if he sells you something for $10.00, and you know it's worth is considerably more, then you have reason to BELIEVE that it could be stolen.

  7. .    "Receiving Stolen Goods" is the legal term that will be used to sentence you.  When he is caught, he will get a lighter sentence if he points to other criminals.  Pointing at you will get him out of jail.
