People get really upset when there is anything wrong down there and if a friend needed the advice or reassurance then of course I would. It can be really difficult to talk about and if you can't talk to a friend then who can you talk to!

No.  Tell him that wouldn't be appropriate and tell him he needs to talk to a male friend about it.  Or a doctor or psychiatrist or someone, anyone, but not his female friends.
