Question:

If a girl asks to study with you, does that indicate attraction?

There's this girl I kind of know who used to date my friend. I only met her once before and this year she started talking to me on facebook and we saw eachother in the dorms once or twice and said hi. Anyway she just told me that we should study together for English tests because she is in my English class. English tests aren't for a few weeks so it struck me as kind of odd that she'd suggest it so early.

I'm not very good at this kind of thing and previous experiences would prove it, so can any of you help me out? Thanks.

  1. It all depends, really. She could either really need to study and thinks you're smart enough to help her, she feels comfortable around you and wants you to help her instead of someone else, or she likes you.

Her wanting to study weeks before the test is a little strange, though. Body language is key to figuring out situations like this... keep an eye out for any flirty-like movements. Sorry, but that's the best I can offer you.

  2. yea she is on to you!

  3. duh she is so into you go for it but dont be too hasty or too obvious about it being a date if thats what you consider it....

  4. well either she is attracted to you...orrrrrr...she wants to...i dont know, STUDY with you?

  5. Ditto to what Ethereal said

  6. not necessarily

  7. yes, shes intersted in you! she could have asked someone else to study..but yet she picks you, i do that to guys i like, i ask them to study or things that you know if yoru rejected, you can recover from.

  8. both probaly

but its probably that she likes you more thn she actuall wants to study

  9. no that means she wants you to do her homework..

  10. If she smiles at you and talks to you somewhat flirtatiously, that could indicate attraction or even if she touches your hand when giving you a pencil or if both your hands rest on the book.  You might try giving her a pencil or resting your hand on a book just to see what she does.  If she understands what you're doing and responds, that is one good sign.

  11. Lucky guy! i wish the girl that sits next to me in math said the same to me. i'd def give her a h**l of a study time!ha ha but anyways yea i thinks shes indicating attraction .. she opened the door now u just have to walk threw! ha ha seal the deal! seize the carp!

  12. wait to you study with her and if she does then i guess she want to study so dont act all different then you are act like yourself take awomens advise

  13. probably try flirting with her and see how she responds.  you can tell when a girl likes you by looking at her body language and the things she says.  answer mine?

  14. not really or if she flirts or whatever then yes

  15. My idea about this is she sees you doing well in class and feel if she studies with you this will perhaps rub off on her she sees you as a trusted person who she can turn to like a brother i suppose and has probably been pushed to learn from her parents and needs the time to catch up with the class ,if you want to be with her don't push this situation to hard but wait and work slowly on her ask her what she wants from this study time

  16. It's possible she may be attracted to you to some degree.  What her true intentions are will probably come out later when you actually do meet up with her to study.  Then again, it's possible she just needs someone she trusts to study on a subject she finds difficulty in.  There's many reasons why, so don't read too much into it.  If you're at least curious about her intentions...have her come study with you and see how she acts towards you.  You never know what may happen and you'll never know unless you give her that opportunity.

  17. bring a tube sock that way when ur doing her u know ur "24" python

wont bring about a little "12" new python = ))

  18. Not necessarily. She may think that you're smart enough to keep her interested in the subject. Or she does dig you, and needed excuse to spend alone time with you. Just be yourself, and don't overreact, that way you can figure it out without making an *** of yourself. Good luck!
