If a girl is 13, 5'6, and 100lbs is that too thin? i don't think so?

ive been trying to lose weight but i only succeeded once. then i gained it back because i lost 10lbs in 2 weeks because i literally starved myself. only ate lunch which was blueberry muffin(big) and fruit. and right now I'm bout 140lbs. starting from september 1st-december 19th 2008

so is it okay for a 13 year old girl 5'6 to be 100lbs?

  1. Bit underweight I'd say, but to confirm, you can do your BMI (Body Mass Index) online.

    All you do is type in your weight, height and age and it tells you if you are underweight, healthy or overweight.

    Google it, you should get some BMI calculators up.

  3. I'm only 5'2 and I'm 134 but I'm a lot older than you.. You've got a lot of height against me though. Personally I think that 100 lbs is too small for anyone, unless you're under 5 ft. For you, I think that about 120 would be a good HEALTHY weight. Trust me, don't starve yourself. I did for a year and got from a size 14/16 to a size 0, then when I actually ate again I went up to 140. Just walk or jog for 30 minutes a day and eat healthy. Don't eat fried stuff. it will weigh you down and make you feel like you're fat. I stay away from that stuff and even though I'm a little big for my height I feel beautiful.

  4. I don't think it is i know a couple of 13-14 year olds and they are about 115-130.

  5. Absolutely not, that is completely underweight. I am 5'7" and the minimum weight for my height is 118. I weigh 135 and am frequently told how skinny I am. So an inch shorter would not be that much of a difference.
