If a group has been deleted, can it be retrieved?

someone deleted our group site and we lost valuable photos and information.

That depends. Is it like a blog or a real web site. You can ask the admin who deleted it for the stuff. It might work. Good Luck!

depends on who deleted it- if you're not the owner, maybe the owner deleted it on purpose. If yahoo deleted it, forget it.

some people have posted accidentally deleting their groups and sending in the help form, they claim Yahoo reinstated them- but only an owner can even think to make that request.

all group owners should back up their groups just in case the group disappears

if it's a Yahoo group it is history and cannot be retrieved.  if you are in contact with some of the members you could start a new group.
