  1. I don't know if Yahoo does ,but I know that they do it on Myspace ,as there were so many people wanting to take over inactive group's to be the new mod that they decided to start deleting the inactive  group.

    Like 5 member's of a group would want to be mod and were fighting over the group so Myspace just started deleting the group


  2. no, they do not- this may change in the future but as of today yahoo only deletes groups due to TOS violations

  3. I don't know exactly - but I think not. As far as I know the owner has to delete the group.
