If a guys friends tell you that he is shy, nervous and bad at dating and you should talk to him first?

what are they ACTUALLY telling you? Could it be that he's interested in you?

girls were so mush smarter when I was in school.  yes, they are saying he likes you but is too shy to take the first step.  if you like him, talk to him, ask him out.

Yah basically, it can be.  they may be trying to tell you that if you want something with him you should make yourself as available as possible.  When youre socializing just make conversation with him and ask him lots of questions about him.  So be subtle you know so he doesnt get intimidated.  Then give him some time and next time you see him again be friendly.  Pretty soon h**l start thinking hey that girl liked me... and come out a bit hopefully and ask you out.

it cud mean that hes into you but shy bout talking to u or it cud mean that hes not that into u or doesn't like you all that much

but i think the wisest choice is to talk to him and see how he really feels :D

It depends on what else is surrounding this scenario. But if you were told to talk to the person first, then I would say yess, he's probably interested in you.
