If a have a debt to a bank in liue of a visa card , will the bank has the right to freeze my salary account ?

i have an visa card account in metrobank phils . which i am not paying, will metrobank has the right to freeze my salary account which is also maintained in the same bank or can they get my properties ?

  1. You need to look at the agreement you signed to get the Visa card account at Metrobank.  In that agreement it will spell out the bank's rights should you not pay what they are owed.  This credit card account could very well be tied to your checking account especially if you have had credit problems in the past.


  2. They will not freeze your account but withdrawn all the money in your account if any.

    As for your properties they can't do anything.

    In future, you can't get loan and blacklisted everywhere.

    My advise is call the bank up for settlement one day when you are ready, ask them to offer you discount because you can't afford to paid.

    All else you will have credit problem till the end of your life.
