Question:

If a high rise has 'no stairs' listed for accessibility, does that mean there are stairs but just for emrgncy?

Or are there seriously no stairs? If so, wtf are people supposed to do if there is a fire? Jump out the window?

*please don't tell me to ask an agent or whatever. I am not looking to buy anything, I just really like looking at the MLS in different states.

  1. It means that you don't have to climb stairs to get into your apartment.  It probably does have emergency exit stairs though.  That would be a good feature.


  2. Maybe it means that all of the apartments are at ground level?  Alternately, it might mean that there are no stairs within the individual apartments (therefore being wheelchair accessible).
