If a horse is ....?

is under weight by 200 pounds but the previous owners rode the horse every day inthis condition is it ok just to ride it a little bit for fun like for 10 mins

I would give it a while to gain some weight and get stronger and healthier. Even 10 minutes or so are probably stressful and painful. Sounds like this horse was abused by the previous owners, and the horse will probably like you more if you let it rest and get healthier for a while.

Get him fed for a few weeks. It would be unhealthy for the horse to be rode now. Just think if you were 200 lbs under weight and you had someone riding around on you. It wouldn't be very comfortable. Get his weight up and then you could try riding him. Good luck!

yes as long as you are feeding the horse the proper nutrition it needs and as long as the horse is comfortable, and do not ride it if it has weak legs or painful injuries,it also depends on how long you've had this horse resting, please let me know.
