  6. The way I always remember the formula is:

How many were you asked for:

    DIVIDED by

    How many in total

    MULTIPLIED by 100.

IE: Asked about 25, divided by 65 in total, multiplied by 100.

    25 / 65 = 0.3846

    0.3846 * 100 = 38.46%

  7. 25/65 x 100

  8. There are 25 rooms occupied out of 65 so

    25 / 65

    =0.38461538

To find percentage multiply by 100:

    =38.461538

    =38.46% (2d.p.)

  9. 25/65 = 38.46%

    Can I say something?

If yu pass the exam, but don't understand / can't work out the answer, you haven't really passed, of course.

Imagine, for example, getting a job on the basis of your maths - you'll be quickly found out.

Do, please, ask your teacher / tutor for some extra help, for the sake of your future.

    I do hope this helps.
