The point: My friend wants a divorce. Th wife is pretty bitchy and unstable, and might refuse to sign, I think. Even though he doesn't believe this can happen, I have heard of people who refused to sign. My friend and her have 3 kids together. What can most probably happen, and how can get a divorce if she refuses?

  1. Depends on what state your friend is in.  You need to repost w/ the state to get the most helpful answer =)

    I found these websites:

    http://www.divorcesource.com/info/divorc...

    http://www.newyork-divorcelawyer.com/new...

It seems to have all the info your friend needs....

Hopefully I helped a bit, although u still have to read the link! ; )

  2. Sadly - very sadly, you shouldn't be looking for help here, but will need to find for legal help  It's so important to know facts rather than opinions in this matter.

    Hope things work out!

  3. Well im not 100% sure, so dont quote me. But my friend is going through the same thing but her husband wont sign. For her tho, they went to court and since he didnt sign anything yet..she got to decide how she wanted to do custody. But after a while the one who doesnt want to sign gets "served"...meaning a lawyer or something finds you and makes u sign it or something like that.

  4. This is a crock let me guess you are the other women he is telling you the only reason he hasn't filed for divorces is she isn't going to sign bologna he can still file and move out. So because he thinks she is not going to sign he stays in the home with her and doesn't even file get real he is giving you lip service. She probably doesn't even know any of this. This is a prefect example of women believing anything a man tells them you don't know what that lady knows or what he is telling her the same way she doesn't know what he is telling you and she probably and this is more than likely doesn't even know you exists.
