If a kid get caught drinking and gets thrown in jail....?

will there school be notified? about being put in jail for 6 hours and about all the court dates?

in california btw.

  1. since they are a kid (under 18), they can do community service to clear the record. may be he or she will go to drug class.for a few weeks


  2. no they leave that up to you, don't believe,releasing a juvenile criminal record is legal, if you want to make your court dates best be getting yo mama down to the vice principals office for a confab!

  3. If the juvenile in question was given probation, then yes the high school will be notified. The probation officer has every right to go to the juveniles home and high school to make random checks on that juvenile.

    If the juvenile was cut loose with just a fine, then no the only way the school will find out is if the juvenile/friends or family tells them.

  4. The usual penalty for underage drinking (under 18) would be a phone  call home by the lead officer, the parent comes and picks them up, they receive charges and must go to juvenile court where they COULD have their driver's license revoked until they are 21.
