If a king is impotent and needs an heir to his throne, is it okay for the Queen to go out and get pregnant by someone to produce the heir?

Historically, it has been considered Treason for the Queen to commit adultery.  There are cases of the throne passing to a brother, nephew, or cousin of the king, or out of his family completely.

No it is adultery... backstabbing ...even if the man gives his permission it is still a sin and God said we may not lead one another into sin.  If a queen is so selfish that she is going to commit adultery to have a child..then she is an unworthy queen indeed and would be an unfit mother as well.  Who knows what sins she may encourage the child of adultery to commit ?

No, it is not okay because the line of succession are for "legitimate" royal offspring only, meaning biological children from the monarch. The King's wife is his "Queen Consort", but she is not of "royal blood." If she had a child with another man, their child is technically not of royal blood, unless that man was the King's brother or a royal relative. Although even that would be frowned upon by others.

Note: Usually if the King is impotent, the crown will eventually go to his younger siblings, nephews, nieces etc. Every royal house has its own line of succession, which specifically state out who's in line to inherit the crown and so forth if the monarch passed away suddenly.

Is the King is impotent, it would go to the next in line to the throne upon the death of the King.

The Queen cannot become pregnant by someone else because there is DNA testing.....
