I'm assuming your a teen if then probably no, if you were older it would be fine but as your still a teen you'll be at different maturity levels. If you do go out with him you'll likely be labelled desperate by our friends. Don't feel bad by saying no, he'll get over it.

I dated a guy who was two years younger than me. It wasn't that awkward. If you like him and he likes you then I see no reason why not. There are not rules for love. And he wouldn't tell you he really liked you if he didn't.

Yes if you like him and No if you dont. If you like him its worth giving him a shot isnt it, you can always drop him if it doesnt work out. Its only awkward with age if he's really immature, but i doubt he is otherwise you wouldnt be contemplating it.... right?
