If a letter is mailed on Friday from Atlanta, Georgia, to Texas, when should i receive it?

Plan on a week, just to be safe (but it'll probably be there by Wednesday of the next week)

in my opinion mail from atlanta georgia to texas should not take more than three days but i guess it depends on whether or not the postal people have time to complete their days sorting of the mail.  Sometimes i can mail a letter to go to someone in the same town as i  live in and it takes a week.  It just depends on the post office people i guess.
