  1. Good morning.

When these things happen it's time to examine the possibilities of where it is originating. Yes - it can be poor decisions - I won't dismiss that, but I have to say there are times in our lives when odd and unusual bad experiences happen which are no fault of our own.

It's difficult to keep a positive attitude when things keep piling on for no good reason and it can make a person desperate.

I do a few things when I encounter these episodes.

I determine first if the situations derived from something I have done - if so, I learn from them and try not to  make the same mistake again.

If the situations derive from someone else and their choices have affected me - I confront them and take any action necessary to make sure it never happens again - but I do one additional thing.

I  meditate and focus on that person envisioning them in a positive way and tell myself their negativity will be deflected through my positive thoughts and energy. Each time they do a negative - I envision and think of positive scene and include them in that vision. I also pray for them.

If neither of those things apply to my demise then I turn to astrology and positive thinking.

I research what's going on in the world at that time and see if others are also experiencing a hard time or if there is a planetary change which could be affecting one house or another. Writing about the issues and your feelings can also be very therapeutic.

For non believers - go work in a hospital during a full moon and watch the fireworks if you would like a simple visual example.

Once I determine the astral changes - I  lay low and wait it out and mediate -or write...lol.  A basic almanac is nice to keep around so you can keep watch of the planets and the moon cycles. There is a time for everything.

I also believe in aroma and music therapy to help pick up the mood. There are people who practice "smudging in their environment.

They burn one type of herb or incense to remove the negative energy then burn another to protect their environment. I don't know a lot about that one but someone who practices wicca in Y/A may have the answer.

  2. I think even if you were cursed ultimately you have the most control of your life.

Some people believe in religious rituals like being blessed by a priest or even the rite of unction (Episcopal church) for spiritual healing.

On the other hand I am a huge believer in positive thinking.

I have listed books below that I highly recommend.

  3. The only power of a curse is in your personal belief.

Stop believing it and it will not be.

    It is that simple

  4. pray not suicide bad choice if suicide

  5. If you believe in that kind of thing,I think there are spells online you can try. Good luck. I don't think you are cursed,s*** does happen!

  6. There really isn't any reason to believe that "curses" exist. If a lot of bad things happen to you, it's more likely due to the choices you've made, the choices that others have made which impact you, and the unpredictable random things that happen to us regardless.

EDIT: Hey JJ, not much interested in the Bible, but I'd be interested in any curses you might have for me. Let me know :)

  7. No curses. That is superstitious.

  8. Well its kind of your perception on things Dennie, I had a friend who had a spell put on him by a voodoo preist, and we all laughed about and said that was a loud of c**p and things like that. The next couple days my friend got hit by a car and broke his wrist, got in car wreck and lost his arm, his house filled with carbon monoxide, his dog attacked him bit up his neck real good. When I asked him about all the bad things that had happened, he said that thos things would of happened anyway that if he had not gone to the voodoo ceremony everything would of happened the way it did. Infact he said that if it was a spell it was a protection spell. I guess what I am trying to say is that its all how a person percieves what is happening to him/her.

  9. If a lot of bad things keep happening to you you can remove the 'curse' by driving carefully, choosing your companions wisely, consuming less intoxicating substances, cleaning your gutters, not leaving unattended candles burning etc etc...

  10. Curses are easy. Take a bath. :-)

Seriously, though, curses use the power of your own mind in order to power themselves. It's been proved that if you simply disbelieve a curse, it stops working. You have to believe you're cursed for it to actually exist.

If you have a lot of bad things happening to you, generally speaking it's because you're not paying attention enough to what you need to pay attention to. I usually explain this as "life is slapping you in the face so that you pay attention to the lesson." I can't give any specific examples, but this is a possibility that I've thought about multiple times. Usually, thinking about this, I can isolate what it is that I'm missing. When I can't, nothing beats picking random directions until you find one that "feels" right. Seriously.

It could also be that you're focused on something other than what you should be. As an example of this, someone at a bank who's focused on giving someone the correct amount to the client instead of focusing on the entire transaction might get short-changed by a clever con artist. This costs the bank money, and can cost the teller a job.

Random chance can put you at the wrong place at the wrong time, and bad things can happen because of that.

Other people might consider you a threat and be working to ruin you. I know, I know, this is real "tin-foil hat" stuff, but it's fun to think about being this important.

There are just too many things to consider in answering this question to cover all possibilities, but focusing on what it necessary is an excellent first step.
