I was just wondering if marines/soldiers/etc have to do an HUV test upon return from their service. I know that they have to take one before they leave or when they enter the service.

  1. Didn't know you could get that from camels................

  2. why would the middle east be any different than any other country...HIV testing is not a post deployment thing...It is a part of a normal physical and that is done frequently throughout their tour of duty.  They are given a cursory exam on return to spot possible post traumatic distress.  But for the most part they are just home.  Why are you so concerned?

  3. I don't think there is a premeditated screening of servicemen for HIV. There are medical evaluations if a serviceman gets sick, or if the country in which they served has an outbreak of some kind, or there is an unusually large sick call list for a particular disorder. It would be preventive, our troops receive the best.
