  1. Hello,

Not by yourself. You have to have someone over 18 with a valid license. That is to my understanding.

  2. A minor can drive wherever he likes if he has a driver's LICENSE.  If he only has  a learner's permit, he must be accompanied by an adult 25 years of age or older.

  3. It all depends on your state.  In Nebraska you can only drive the shortest route to and from school and school sponsored activities, not work.

  4. As far as I know, a driver's permit only allows you to learn to drive with a licensed driver in the car....so don't drive alone...you could lose your future license,....and it does allow you to learn so you can get the license....you can work it out for that long.

  5. i think you can but just by yourself no freinds

  6. At least not in minnesota! There must be a licensenced driver over 18 in the car with the permit holder!

  7. Here are some safety tips for your first time driver:

  8. not that i know of...i've always heard they need a liscenced adult in the car with them at all times

  9. not unless you go with them

  10. A minor can not drive the car alone EVER no matter what the situation is a licensed 25 year old or older must be with them.

  11. no not without a licensed driver over the age of 18 in the front seat next to them

  12. Yes, assuming they have a licensed driver over the proper age to act as instructor in the front seat with them, just as always.

Otherwise, no.  It's a practice permit to get your time in to take the test, not permission to drive alone ever under any circumstances.

When you get stopped, it will be a "Driving without a license" ticket, and it may put your real license on hold until you are 18 depending on the mood of the judge when you get to court.

    DON'T do it.

  13. With someone who is over the age of 18 or someone who has had their liscence for 3 years....not by them selves...

  14. NO THEY HAVE TO HAVE A LICENSED PERSON IN THE CAR BOTH GOING TO SCHOOL OR TO WORK. JUST WENT THRU THAT WITH MY SON.

  15. NO!!  If the minor has read the driver's license manual, he/she will know that!!

  16. Yea, but only if someone is in the car with them that has a valid driver's license.  That's for some states. You should check for which ones and check the rules for driving.

  17. It depends on the state you live in..

  18. In most states the minor still needs an adult to accompany them while they are still learning how to drive.

If this minor HAS TO WORK because the minor does not have a choice but needs to work to provide to the family there are laws that allow the minor to drive without an adult.
