If a mortgage company refuses to forclose after 7 yrs how do i get my name removed from property title?

it has been 7 years and they refuse to do anything, i have tried talking to them trying to get this resolved. the house is unsafe to live in and they know this

  1. If a lender doesn't want to foreclose, that's their decision.

    It's very easy to get your name removed from the title. Any lawyer can handle that for you in half an hour. In fact, you can do that yourself.

    Why not just sell the property? For the right price, anything will sell. And that'll get you off the mortgage and the title.


  2. Why would a mortgage company want a house that you have told them is unsafe to live in?   Sell it or fix it up.  You will never be able to buy anything else with this on your credit.

  3. Ask the mortgage company if you can just deed them the property.
