  1. obviously not all managers would think big bobo is their cup of tea,but with the lack of talent in defence i think the vast majority would try him.as with the riodan issue,i find that wee gordy can be too stubborn for his own good and it could come back to haunt him.what you got from the big man was 90 minutes of bullying,no nonsense and frantic defending that on the whole was effective.

  2. don't know i think big bobo is looking for one last big pay deal

  3. Dont know - I wish he would be replace McManus

  4. can anyone honestly say caldwell is a better defender ? his distribution is poor but in the european cup final in 67 the players sang the celtic song in the tunnel before they took to the park to intimidate the opposition , the sight of bobo standing opposite you in the tunnel would intimidate the hardest centre forward !

  5. be daft not to..scares the **** out of most people..don't know why others are getting played and he's not...not that i'm not happy about it though x

  6. most definitely. Bobo is one of my favourites a wee bit clumsy at times but gives 100 % and is a big solid stopper.I just can't understand wgs sometimes.

Big Bobo should be given a run in the first team now.

  7. He can afford another place anyway, probably next door to Nacho.

    No 14

  8. I'm not sure to be honest.  I quite like him as a defender he is tough and strong and wins everything in the air.  There is obviously a reason why he doesn't play him, even a child could see he is the best we have for the middle of defence.

  9. Bobo's gonna get ya !

  10. The denial of Bobo being a Celtic player by WGS has always puzzled me. Of course giving us a hat trick of titles, soothes any ire there might be. To be honest though, I think WGS has missed a trick in not using Bobo these last few years week in, week out.

A big, heavily built defender, not afraid of a tackle; he is willing to get into the other box at corners and shake them up a bit.

WGS has to accept that Wilson & Naylor are, now, at best reserve choices.

A back four consisting of Hinkel, McManus, Balde & Loovens, would at least give more dimension.

Would a new coach give Balde his place back? I hope to think they would. Popular with the fans, and the look of the man when he is on the pitch is brilliant.

Not only that, I have still to get my shirt that says Baldy 1 on the back!

    HAIL! HAIL!

  11. Yes please! ... the sooner the better .. Strachan's only Desmond and   Lawwells puppet.

  12. I am sure he would...have said before that man puts the fear of god into other players...we need him..and for the wages he is on lets use him.

  13. dont really know and dont care

  14. think he would as i'd hate to think someone else is making team selection their business
