If a non functioning gallbladder is not taken out, could this hurt you?

Ive been scheduled to have my gallbladder removed 2 time already..The first time my surgeon had a stroke and I had to reconsult and see someone else...he doesn't accept my insurance and now I can get it done for the second time..I am in pain, nauseated, dizzy, and miserable...I have no stones, just a gallbladder functioning at 7%! Can someone please help me! What should I do?

  1. You definitely need to have it removed and get on medication to aid in your digestion. The gallbladder helps you digest food which provides nutrients for your body if you do not take care of this your health could be severely compromised.

  3. When I went to the doctor, he said that a lot of people feel better with them removed.  But I still have mine, since it just flares up at times. You could try taking food enzymes. And watch the foods you eat, avoid  too many fatty foods. I take Pancreatic VegEnzymes with my meals.

  4. This is just as dangerous as any other gallbladder disease. It must come out.
