If a non-yahoo profile member of a group wanted to see a posted file, is there a link for that file?

Some users in my group do not want Yahoo profiles. I'm looking for a way for them to look at files posted in the group. I was thinking of a link, directly to that file, that I could email them.

Can't you just copy and paste it into an email to them, or is that illegal?  (according to yahoo answers rules)?

that link will directly take you to the groups file section, and those w/o a yahoo ID wont be able to view it. the benefit of a yahoo ID is the group features, and w/o it they don't have access to files, links or photo's, polls and so on.

you'd hve to copy and paste it to a post for them to see it- or members send it as an attachment, providing those members in question are set to individual mail and the group settings are allowing attachments to be distributed
