  1. It really depends on the speed the missile is travelling and the trajectory. For example, if the missile is travelling at 750 miles/hour, and it never goes above 1000 feet altitude, it'll get to SF faster than if it is shot into space and evades counter measures.

    More details needed. The only one that is really constant right now is the distance between Beijing and San Fransisco.


  2. If we get hit by a nuke it won't involve  icbms. It will be a limited exchange that involves knuckleheads who can't afford missiles who might  smuggle small nukes over our loose borders or on board  cargo ships.

    And why are you worrying about a nuclear war at this time? The USA can shoot down anything that is fired at them. LOL
