If a package from overseas just made it to ISC New York when will it arrive in CA?

How long does it usually take for a package to get through ISC New York and customs, and when will it arrive in CA? Does it usually sit there for a while? I think it was sent express.

it depends, is it going US mail or private carrier (UPS, Fedex, etc)?

First it has to go through US customs and they decide how long it takes to clear customs, then US mail several days (dont know) but UPS five business days if going ground.
