If a person's home phone number is listed in a directory,does the first name appear too?

Im still looking for my friend who lives in Oz,will I be able to track her down in a real phone directory listing in OZ? I tried the whitepages but it only displays a person's last name and initial of the first name aside from the address and phone number.

and by OZ, do u mean the magical land with the yellow brick road and the emerald kingdom, and the little people, that Dorothy went to? If so, you won't be able to track her down, unless you live on a farm in rural Kansas, in the path of a tornado. And tornado season is coming, so you might be seeing your friend really soon. I just checked my white pages, it is only initials - either one or 2 initials followed by a surname

phone books across aus only have initials ,last names , rarely first names,and street/suburb addresses. to find your friend you will need to know ;what state.city .and suburb they live in . i wish you luck, it can be a big task.

All the directories I know of only have last name and initials.
