If a person accuses another of being racist........?

but his friends call said person a "log chucker" (reference to the highland games as i am scottish) and a "taig" ( derogatory term for catholic even tho i am protestant),

is the person who originally threw out the racist accusations actually the racist one seeing as how he failed to acknowledge his friends obvious prejudice?

yeah thats right, this guy who called me racist, one of his good mates called me a log chucker and this guy didnt say two words to hima bout how out of order he is

  1. Bad behavior shouldn't be justified by referring to equivalent behavior emanating from someone else.

    It sounds like you did utter some derogatory comments.  You should accept and expect a rebuke if you engage in this type of activity.


  2. You don't metion color in your question.

    Race refers to color.

    "Origin discrimination," or "Religious discrimination," is  what one might call your situation.

    Your beginning paragraph doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but if I am to understand someone called you a few not-so-nice names?  You didn't say why the guy called you, "racist." Did you say something first?

    If you clarify what you are trying to say, it would be easier to help.
