  1. Yup, my accounting teacher would always read the reports and notice his students parents who filed bankruptcy... weird hah


  2. Yes. Not only is it a matter of public record, but it also must be advertised. You have to run an ad in a newspaper advertising your bankruptcy so that all of your creditors are "officially" notified, and are invited to the court hearing to have their say in the matter.
