  1. I rebuilt my personality from the inside out from being a robotic, soulless technocrat chronically at war with the world to being a pretty OK person who spends his free time doing sculpture, poetry and successful construction projects without warfare. If I can do that, you can do anything. Experience does prime a person, but it can be overcome. There is a Chinese-Japanese word called Kyo that is derived from the symbol for river. It means that everything is changing all the time. That means you are not stuck in any situation. The next concept is that causes are simultaneous with effects. So you make the right cause, you are also making the right effect on Kyo.

    The cause-effect relationship is Renge.

Life is both tangible and intangible. That is Myo  and ho for Myoho.

The key, then, is Myoho Renge Kyo. When you focus your intention on that with the word Nam, you have Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.  The universe and your intentioin then begin to unify and you can do extraordinary things. When I came to San Diego, I was unemployable and, after starting to run my life on the utter rationality of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo, had all the best jobs in my field in San Diego. Even when construction here collapsed, I found an even better job through this effort. If you are not afraid of learning new things, get a hold of sgi-usa.org .Don't worry about how those people talk because everyone has their own background and agenda. Just have them teach you about Nam Myoho Renge Kyo and you will be just fine.

Yes, one can come back from a place of total dispare, and you will be stronger for it. You may not see it now. But we grow the most from our mistakes and our difficult times in life than we do when things are all rosey. You will have a greater understanding about life and making choices. You will one day be the inspiration you are looking for. =)

EDIT: I want to say thank you to CHER for Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams thank you I just watch the video. Amazing.

  3. . I understand that when your going through something like this you feel very alone and it's as if your sinking into a dark hole and losing sight of any lite at the end. I'm here to tell you that.most of us have been where you are today. Mistakes are part of growing and learning but you can not grow if you aren't learning. Whenever I have a friend that keeps having the same kind of problems over and over I tell them " there is a lesson to learn here and you just aren't getting it." Every expierence you have brings with it a lesson in life and when you start looking at it from that point of view you can accept and deal with lifes problems easier.

You sound like someone that has no life plan. I don't understand how anyone can even get up in the morning if there are no plans or goals to work towards. You need to decide where you want to go in this life then you have to write down step by step how you plan to get there. This is a journey you will never take unless you start putting one foot in front of the other on a planned path. Lots of mistakes are made when you live a random life....fewer are made with a plan. My father said to me " there is nothing you cannot have if you want it badly enough" He has been gone many years but those words still are with me. Also, please let me encourage you to go on the internet (you tube) and listen to "The last Lecture" the Prof. that wrote this found out he was dying from cancer and had 3 small children he wanted to leave a message for..............I think he had in mind you also, so please listen.

    PS He died last week
