  1. Honeybees leave their stingers in, bumblebees don't and can sting several times as can wasps and hornets.  Wasps, hornets, bumblebees, and honeybees all have venom, which is why they sting you- so that they can inject you with the venom for bothering them.

Anyhow, for the most part people are considered bee allergic if it is honeybees, but it can also be across most species as an insect venom allergy.  Some people are sensitive to wasps, but not to bees.  The proteins in the venoms vary by species, some are more complex than others and the amount of venom injected varies with species, number of stings, and depth of injection.

  2. usually it's just regular bumble bees, because when they sting you, they actually leave the stinger in your arm & then fly away & die a few mins later. with the stinger comes the venom, & that's what makes people allergic.

yellow jackets & wasps have stingers that don't detach from their body, & don't have any venom, so people usually aren't allergic to them.

    hope this helps!

  3. Why do people with allergies have to discriminate against A, C, & D? Jerks.

  4. it depends on the person.

it could be only bumble bee's or yellow jacks.
