If a person is caught in a flash flood should they stay in their car?

No! That'l be a disaster..... one will not be able to open the car door if the water reaches up to that level because of the pressure! It's like u know you are drowning and there is nothing you can do about it!

No, that's how you drown.

Of course, getting washed away is a great way to drown, also.  And I know someone who got electricuted, when they opened the car door to get out - the car was in water, and a live electrical wire was touching the water, and they didn't see it.
