If a person is cut in half..?

I've seen people who only have the upper half of their body (no hips or any part of their legs, just the upper half of their body) and I've been wondering.. how do they use the bathroom? Do they just puke out what they eat or have some tube or something?

They still have in most cases their kidneys and intestines, but are hooked up to bags that collect their waste and when it is full or when they want to they change it.

they have a pauch hooked up to their intestine and all the wasre is redirected to a bag, they simply change the bag when its time.

Urine is collected in a bag.....not sure what that is called, but 'solid' waste is sent from the intestines to a bag called a colostomy bag.

Both fill to a certain level and are then emptied.
