This started all of a sudden and she has been taken to a hospital and they have run test, and the results have not come back yet, while she was there no one stayed over night with her, but they were called to see how she was doing and do to so many test they were doing the husband was getting the house ready for her to come back home.busy moving things and giving her a change of scenery due to the fact she does not like to leave home,There is a age difference in their ages but they have been together for nine years, and he plays his guitar and wrote many songs for her.He has always called her his queen and treated her as such, and she has him also but there world is falling apart. And wondering what direction to go to next,They have always had an agreement that she not be put in a nurseing home if she were to take ill,He would take care of her and she would take care of him. This loving woman that loves him very much has started to see things and then attack him for no reason, I am affraid that she will kill him and not even know what she has done,He loves her very much, and even the age difference he has been faithful to her and the reason I know this is because he is my brother and we have been very close and he talks to me about everything,,what kind of doctor could she see to bring her mind back to normal..

  1. According to Spiritism - widely embraced in Brazil and South America - she may be suffering from spiritual obsession: that is, a spirit or spirits who are attacking your brother's wife. I have been to a very effective centre in Brazil where inexplicable cases are often dealt with effectively. Whatever her hospital results, if you want, you can email me through my profile here and I can then send you the email address of someone (English -speaking) who with a brief summary of the problem and her name, can help her from a distance. Although the website is in Portuguese, I include the address as if by a chance you wish to try it (it's free) then you might want to translate the site online.

  2. I am no doctor, so this is stricly opinion:

It sounds like it could be pschzofrenia (sp?). My grandmother had it, and it tore her family's life apart. Her husband had to leave her for the kids safety when my mother was only 3 years old. It is a tough thing to deal with.

Although there are medications that can help ease the effects, there is no cure.

Pschzofrenia presents itself much like depression, with the added symptom of hallucinations.

I hope sincerely that I am wrong, and she just has a bad bug that antibiotics will get rid of overnight.

Good Luck to all of you.

  3. The person should see a doctor as soon as possible.  The doctor may refer her to mental health carers.

There are many mental health disorders that can cause these kinds of symptoms and only a qualified professional can determine the cause.

There are medications that can control the symptoms and allow her to live a normal life in most cases.  Howveer, given the indicated age of the lady, it may be some form of parkinsons or dementia.

It is imperative that yoiu seek medical advice as soon as possible so you can determine the cause of this behaviour.

Do see a doctor as soon as you can.  Do!

  4. Well, it sounds like they have start doing the right thing by getting her checked out at a hospital. This could be a psychological issue, but it could also be a physical issue. Hopefully it would be some simple like a hormone being off kilter that can be treated with some type of drug therapy. Any kind of growth or a tumor in the brain can cause all kinds of weird things to happen to a person. Or, it could be psychological. It sounds much to early to speculate. If this started suddenly, and she didn't have a history of mental health issues, my first thought would be a physical problem.
