what do i do to stop a person from taking medication under my name. do i contact the doctor. i aggred in the beggining but i don't want anymore.

  1. This person is breaking the law. If caught they can indeed go to jail for this activity. Prescriptions are to be used only by the person for whom they are written - no exceptions. You may be held partially responsible if this is done with your knowledge and consent. It can be a very big problem if insurance companies are paying for the medications as well. I would suggest you get a lawyer and straighten this out very quickly.

  3. If they are using your name you should call the doctor and tell him who they are and they should ask for id

  4. do you mean that you got the script and gave or sold it to someone else? That is against federal law I do believe. If you do not want to get in trouble, you better not say anything to the doc. Just don't ever get that script again and give it to someone else
