If a person needed to gain sponsors and or to sell ad space what kind of agency do they go to?

I have a website and i need funding but through sponsors and selling ad space...i have a nightlife website so it would be geared to liquor, water, women etc...that kind of advertising. it is commission based with a percentage of the funds gained (all funds) so if your a beast you will be rich and or if you know someone who does this for a living please respond...asap

Before going to agencies your website has to have some 1mln page views per month. for less than it, the only source of ad revenues can come from contextual placing ads providers like google's adsense program or yahoo publishers network program (yahoo is only if you are paying taxes in USA)

Once you have more than a million page views per month and you steadily make some 5000$ in ad revenues, then it  makes sense to approach specialized marketing agencies and talk with them about your ad placing offers.

however, if your site has exclusively adult contents like nudity and gambling and that type of topics your only chance is to join network of similar contents types of sites. again, you have to have certain number of page views per month to be taken seriously.
